The HKS Super Turbo Muffler is newly developed with titanium material based on the concept of making high power while enjoying a gentle sound. The weight of the exhaust has been reduced approx. 9.2 kg compared to the stock exhaust weighing 12.4 kg, resulting in a weight reduction of approx. 26%. 

The pipe diameter of 74. 7mm to 60.5mm x 2, which is the largest diameter (☆1) among titanium exhausts for GR Yaris that are compatible with Japanese vehicle inspections, and the silencer structure with no restriction have been adopted to achieve overwhelming exhaust performance. By adopting a silent chamber and optimizing the silencer, the unpleasant sound peculiar to 3-cylinder engines has been reduced, and when you step on it, you will enjoy a powerful and pleasant titanium sound that is not found in stock units.

  • We newly adopted an optimally shaped mid silencer and Y-pipe prior to developing the Super Turbo Muffler with titanium material.

  • Compared to the stock exhaust with pipes diameter of 70mm ⇒ 60.5mm ⇒ 42.7mm x 2 and a separation wall structured silencer, this product achieves overwhelming exhaust performance by adopting pipes diameter of 74.7mm ⇒ 60.5mm x 2 and a straight structured silencer without restrictions.

  • Sound tuning, including the use of a silent chamber and optimization of the silencer, has reduced unpleasant drone and enhanced a unique titanium exhaust sound.

  • While retaining the signature silted tails of the HKS Super Turbo Muffler, the titanium tail with the HKS logo engraved and matte finish with burnt titanium blue is featured.

The above graph shows how flow rate is related to pressure, measured on a flow bench. The lower the pressure relative to the flow rate, the lower the exhaust resistance.

  • By adopting a pipe diameter of 74.7mm ⇒ 60.5mm x 2 and a silencer without restriction, the exhaust resistance of this product is reduced by about 70% compared to the stock exhaust. (Comparison at a flow rate of 200L/sec)

  • The replacement of the exhaust improved maximum output and torque, especially in the mid-range torque output and high RPM power output.
  • Power output improved by about 8.1% at the point of greatest difference, maximum power output increased by about 3.1%, torque output improved by about 5.6% at the point of greatest difference, and maximum torque output improved by about 1.2%.

The above graph shows the distribution of the maximum value of each frequency when measuring the proximity exhaust noise of the stock exhaust and this product.

The sound has been tuned to provide a powerful sporty sound while the silent chamber keeps the sound from becoming unpleasantly droned in the daily use rpm range.

For the mid and high frequency range, sound tuning was performed to make the titanium's unique sound characteristics stand out even more, and to create a pleasant sound when stepping on the gas pedal.

When combined with METAL CATALYZER (33005-AT011), the noise level is 90dB (idling volume 69dB) (☆2) compared to the Japanese exhaust noise regulation value of 96dB, so you can use it with peace of mind. (☆2 In-house measured value)
