Exoracing B/D-Series Titanium Sump Bolt Kit Installation Guide:

Follow our quick and easy installation guide to install your fresh new titanium B/D-Series sump bolts as quickly as possible. If you are unsure of the steps below, please get a professional to install them.

1. First, jack the car up using all the safety precautions, such as ensuring the axle stands are in the correct location.
2. Drain the oil by removing the sump plug in case of oil leakage while changing the nuts or bolts. If you don't already, now might be a good time to get one of our Exoracing m14x1.5 magnetic sump plugs to catch any nasty metal filings in the sump.
3. Next, remove the sump nuts and bolts individually and install our titanium in their place, torquing the OEM factory torque settings of 9 ft-lb.
4. Torque the bolts from the rear centre to the front centre, following a crisscross pattern around the sump until every bolt has been torqued down.
5. Install the sump plug and change the crush washer to avoid leakage. Fill the engine with oil to the correct level, remove the axle stands, and let the car down.
